Interested in Becoming a Member of the Coalition?

There are two membership categories:

  • Organizational membership with annual dues of $200
  • Individual membership with annual dues of $50

Organizations:

Coalition mailing list, ability to post information to news and resources pages of the website at no charge along with a link to the member’s site, discount on educational programs, opportunity to volunteer time to Coalition and its committees.

Individuals:

Coalition mailing list, opportunity to volunteer time, discounts on educational programs, a complimentary copy of the Coalition’s booklet--Beginning the Conversation about Death, Dying and End-of-Life Care.

Join A Committee!

Membership Committee:

The primary responsibility of the membership committee is to build the membership of the Coalition by identifying potential organizations and individual members.

Development Committee:

The primary responsibility of the development committee is to develop a strategic plan for sustaining our financial base of the Coalition, including soliciting funds from potential donors, organizations, and sponsors.

Public Relations Committee:

The primary purpose of the public relations committee is to increase the Coalition’s visibility in the state. One of the first activities has been to develop the website and now the challenge is to maintain and update it.

Education Committee:

The primary responsibility of the education committee is to develop education initiatives related to "Continuing the Conversation". Two sub-committees (Professional/Public) are needed in order to have a comprehensive approach to meet both professional and lay needs related to end-of -life care.

The State of Connecticut Department of Public Health and the Coalition to Improve End-of-Life Care need your help to gather information on the educational needs of health care professionals, pharmacists, social workers, chaplains, funeral directors and others in Connecticut who provide palliative and end-of-life care.
